We are delighted to warmly welcome Muzaiana Naomi Khan to the Department of Architecture, Bangladesh University, as she begins her journey with us from this December.
With an academic career spanning nearly a decade, Ar. Naomi brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and passion to architectural education. She began her teaching career in 2016 at the Department of Architecture, Stamford University Bangladesh, and has contributed significantly to academia ever since. Prior to teaching, she served as an Associate Architect at Tanya Karim NR Khan & Associates, enriching her practice-based knowledge and professional expertise.
Ar. Naomi completed her Bachelor of Architecture from BRAC University in 2012 and holds a Master’s in Architecture from Jadavpur University, India, supported by a prestigious full scholarship from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
Her academic and research interests include urban design, climate-responsive design adaptation, resilience, urban well-being, and context-sensitive design solutions—areas that align strongly with the future aspirations of our department.
We believe her insightful perspectives and commitment to quality architectural education will inspire our students and strengthen our academic community.
