Ignoring the severe winter, cultivation has been concentrated in Chilmari of Kurigram during the current Eri-Boro season. Despite traditional methods of farming with cows, a different picture has been seen in a place called Pedi Khawa Bill of Thanahat Union of the upazila. There, a farmer was seen plowing the land with a horse. The farmer said that the production cost will be saved.
